The Scourge of Andima
Bonekeeper monitors are large reptiles that live within rocky outcroppings of the desert, wherever cacti grow. Growing to a size of 10’ in length, they are bumbling lizards that can run at an alarming speed when hunting.
Named for their gruesome method of eating, bonekeepers stab their prey onto the needles of a cactus, and rip limbs off allowing them to bleed out. They collect a food stash that lasts up to five days, but their stomachs will devour rotting flesh so those food stores have been known to last longer.
